Server Requirements

Make sure your hosting environment meets the minimum requirements before installing your Theme Worx theme for the smoothest experience.

Important: If your PHP version is below 7.4, the theme may not activate correctly. Contact your hosting provider to upgrade PHP before installation.

Step by Step

Theme Installation

You can install the Theme Worx theme directly from your WordPress dashboard or via FTP. Follow the method that suits you best.

Method 1: WordPress Dashboard (Recommended)

Log in to your WordPress admin panel at yoursite.com/wp-admin.
Go to Appearance → Themes → Add New and click Upload Theme.
Click Choose File, select the theme .zip file from your Theme Worx download, then click Install Now.
Once installed, click Activate to enable the theme on your site.
You'll see a welcome notice — click Install Required Plugins to continue.

Method 2: FTP Upload

Unzip the theme package on your computer.
Connect to your site via FTP (FileZilla or similar) and navigate to /wp-content/themes/.
Upload the unzipped theme folder to this directory.
Return to WordPress, go to Appearance → Themes, and activate Theme Worx.

Pro tip: After activation, install only the plugins recommended by the theme (shown in the setup notice). Installing unnecessary plugins can slow down your site.

Quick Start

One-Click Demo Import

Skip the blank canvas — import a full pre-built demo with pages, menus, and settings in one click, then replace the content with your own.

Navigate to Theme Worx → Demo Import in your WordPress dashboard.
Browse the available demo layouts and click Import on the one you like.
Choose whether to import full demo content (pages, images, settings) or options only (settings without dummy content).
Wait for the progress bar to complete — this may take 2–5 minutes depending on your server.
Once done, visit your site to see the imported demo. Start replacing text, images, and links with your own.

Note: Demo import replaces existing content. Always run it on a fresh WordPress install or a staging site — not on a live site with existing pages.

Theme Options & Customizer

Theme Worx gives you powerful options to control your site's look and feel — no coding required. Find all settings under Theme Worx → Theme Options.

Setting Your Brand Colors

Go to Theme Worx → Theme Options → Global Settings.
Click the Primary Color swatch and pick your brand color (or enter a hex code).
Set the Accent Color used for buttons, links, and highlights.
Click Save Changes — colors update live across buttons, headers, and accents.

Page Building with Elementor

Every Theme Worx theme ships with custom Elementor widgets and template kits so you can build stunning pages visually — just drag, drop, and edit.

Using Theme Worx Widgets

Edit any page with Elementor and search for "Theme Worx" in the widget panel.
Drag widgets like Theme Worx Heading, Feature Grid, Pricing Table, and Testimonial Slider onto your layout.
Customize content, colors, and spacing from the left-hand settings panel.
Click Update to save — changes go live instantly.

Theme Templates

Single Post Template — controls the layout of all blog posts automatically.
Archive Templates — style your blog, category, and search result pages.
Header & Footer Templates — build once, display site-wide via Theme Worx display rules.

Elementor Free vs Pro: Theme Worx works with both. Elementor Pro unlocks theme builder features for full site editing, but it is not required.

WooCommerce Setup

Theme Worx includes deep WooCommerce integration — styled product pages, cart, checkout, and account areas that match your theme perfectly out of the box.

Install and activate WooCommerce from Plugins → Add New.
Run the WooCommerce setup wizard to configure store basics (currency, payments, shipping).
Go to Theme Worx → Theme Options → WooCommerce to control shop layout, product image sizes, and cart behavior.
Create your first product under Products → Add New and preview the shop page.

Use a caching plugin — WP Super Cache or LiteSpeed Cache dramatically improve load times.
Optimize images — install ShortPixel or Imagify to compress uploads without visible quality loss.
Disable unused fonts — in Theme Options → Typography, only load the font weights you actually use.
Enable lazy loading — built into the theme for images below the fold; keep it enabled.

Run into a problem? Here are the most common issues reported by Theme Worx users and how to fix them quickly.

Issue	Solution
Demo import fails or times out	Increase PHP memory limit to 256 MB and max execution time to 300 in php.ini, then retry.
Plugins not installing	Check FTP/SFTP credentials in wp-config.php or install plugins manually via Plugins → Add New → Upload.
Styling looks broken	Go to Appearance → Theme Options and click Regenerate CSS. Clear your caching plugin afterward.
Fonts not loading	Ensure Google Fonts are enabled in Theme Options → Typography and flush permalinks (Settings → Permalinks → Save).
WooCommerce emails unstyled	WooCommerce → Settings → Emails → Manage templates → Reset template defaults.
